Help shape the future of automotive technology

FISITA is the world body for automotive engineers. Our members are the national automotive engineering societies in 38 countries, along with the leading vehicle manufacturers, suppliers, engineering service providers and energy companies. Our objective is to share knowledge among the world’s automotive engineers and contribute to the development of automotive technology.

FISITA is growing and we have two new opportunities for talented people to join the team at our headquarters. We offer the chance to work with the leaders of the global auto industry and to experience many different countries, cultures and backgrounds. We also offer a competitive salary and benefits, plus a great Central London location.

Education Officer

You will provide professional support to the FISITA Education Committee, helping to drive forward our programmes in support of students and young engineers in partnership with our member associations around the world. Challenges include expanding our global student bursary programme, managing our involvement in Formula SAE and Formula Student and creating a new web site to inform and connect student members throughout our member countries.

Educated to degree level, you will need direct experience of planning and delivering attractive student programmes and events at the Higher Education level. You will be a creative thinker and possess first class organisational and communication skills.

Technical Officer

You will work with FISITA’s Technical Committee to develop new and existing ways to share the latest engineering technology and techniques among our members, including the prestigious World Automotive Congress, events, publications and on-line services.

You will be an engineering graduate with a keen interest in and good overall knowledge of automotive technology and the global industry. You will have excellent organisational and project management skills, and be equally comfortable working in a small team or on your own initiative. You will also be a great communicator with the confidence to work with and present to senior executives from some of the world's top automotive companies.

Both roles require excellent spoken and written English and both involve international travel.
