When Bob Giles pumped the gasoline, motorists got a break, and a local charity got a check. Giles, CEO of Giles Nissan-Volvo in Lafayette, La., sold more than 5,000 gallons of gasoline for 99 cents a gallon. The dealer, shown fueling a vehicle during the event, then donated the $5,006 collected to the Acadiana Outreach Center, which helps poor and homeless people in the community.
