Director, Electrical and Electronic Engineering; Director of Future Technologies

International Truck and Engine Corporation, a division of Navistar International Corp., is the world's leading diesel engine manufacturer. Globally, International and its affiliates provide diesel engines to major OEMs in the automotive, agricultural and industrial segments.

International is currently seeking candidates for the following two positions at the Engine Engineering headquarters located in Melrose Park, IL.

Director, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Job ID# 2007-5508)

This high profile position will oversee the Electrical/Electronics System Engineering team. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in vehicle electrical, electronics product development, and engineering (including design direction, product assurance, performance specification, and configuration control).

Director of Future Technology (Job ID# 2007-5362)

This equally high profile position requires the ability to identify, design and configure technically and commercially viable future technologies for International's engine product offerings. Candidates must have a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, at least 15 years of broad Engineering cross-discipline experience and new product development life cycle experience (definition, design, development, validation, and launch), and at least 10 years of diesel or automotive engineering experience.

Each position oversees a group of 40 or more engineers and has significant budget responsibility. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Excellent benefits package, including relocation.
