Your challenge

As the world's sixth largest car manufacturer we are one of the global players. Over 115,000 employees are committed to contributing to this enormous success. With our Hyundai and KIA brands, we are the fastest growing car manufacturer in Europe. Our Technical Center, which was opened in Rüsselsheim in 2003, is gaining increasing significance and is now responsible for developing future generations of vehicles for Europe. For this purpose, we shall noticeably be expanding our capacities in the coming years.

Powertrain -- Development Engineers Diesel/Gasoline m/f

Advanced Combustion Development (Diesel) Ref. PT 710

You will develop the coming EU5 and EU6 engine generation at our European diesel competence center. Main focus is on combustion development in combination with injection system, gas exchange, charge motion and Turbo charging. Advanced ECU systems, prototype vehicles and dynamic test benches will be available to you.

Advanced Combustion Development (Gasoline) Ref. PT 711

You will develop our future generation of engines for Europe. During preliminary development, concepts are created regarding the subjects of combustion process (DI), variable valve train, and charging. Experimental vehicles with advanced ECU systems and dynamic test benches will be available to you.

3D-CFD Simulation of Combustion Engines Ref. PT 713

You are working on detailed steady state and transient 3D-CFD analysis of gas motion in pipes, ports and combustion chamber, also in combination with fuel injection and combustion process. Therefore you use tools like Star-CD (PRO-AM, ES-ICE) and Kiva.

Mechanical Development (Gasoline) Ref. PT 720

You will develop the engine mechanics for our coming European engine generation. Main focus is on functional trials and the optimization of valve drive, control assembly, and crankshaft assembly. You will carry out measurements at test benches and in the vehicle, the analysis of which, together with the simulations, will make functional improvements possible.

ECU Calibration/Aftertreatment (Diesel) Ref. PT 517

You will bring our new diesel engine generation to full-scale production. Your main focus will be on control unit data input for the European market. Core issues are the optimization of emissions, drivability, performance, and consumption for our vehicles produced in Europe. State-of-the-art engine and vehicle test benches will be available to you.

Engineering Design Engineers m/f

Interior Concept & Packaging Ref. ED 708; Polymeric Science Ref. ED 709

CAE Engineers m/f

Restraint Systems Ref. ED 707

The new Hyundai and KIA brand image will be developed by working closely with our styling, which is strongly marked by our ideas and solutions. In collaboration with the suppliers, innovations are attended to holistically, during the entire development process to the start of production. Our efficient process, supported by all internal departments, guarantees the premium quality our customers expect.

Regulation, Vehicle Safety & Environment -- Manager/Senior Engineers m/f

Active Safety Ref. RVSE 710; Regulation/Environment Ref. RVSE 711

You will represent our company on European panels (e.g. the European Commission, consumer protection agencies, vehicle manufacturer associations) and actively contribute to the creation of new regulations. During the development process, you will plan and monitor the implementation of these new requirements at our development centers in Europe and Korea.

Vehicle Test & Development -- Test Engineers/Managers m/f

Steering & Suspension Ref. VTD 512; Noise, Vibration, Harshness (NVH) Ref. VTD 712

In the area of vehicle test & development, you will be responsible for the implementation of customer-relevant vehicle functionalities with regard to the requirements in the European market. Technical market observation is also an integral part of this job. The work environment spans from definition during the concept phase to development, tuning and testing of complete vehicle prototypes to validation at the start of production. Your activities will significantly determine the product at-tributes of future Hyundai and Kia vehicles.

Quality Center (Offenbach) -- Manager/Senior Engineers m/f

Ride & Handling Ref. QC 001; Engineers m/f Body/Interior/Exterior Parts Ref. QC 002; Transmission Ref. QC 002

You will be responsible for the quality of ride & handling, body/interior and exterior parts or transmissions of our current and future cars. Your main focus is on quality improvement, root cause finding, customer satisfaction and product optimization.
