Robert Snodgrass

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Robert Snodgrass, CEO of Brumos Racing, Brumos Motor Cars Inc. (Porsche-Mercedes) and Lexus of Jacksonville, died here April 24. He was 64.

Snodgrass was a member of the Porsche Board of Regents. He had been a dealer since 1973.

This year Snodgrass was inducted into the Goodyear Legends Walk of Fame at the Daytona International Speedway. His cars had three Rolex 24 at Daytona wins and 10 wins at Daytona. Snodgrass also was a vice chairman of the Grand American Road Racing Association.

Hugh Wehmeier

FLOSSMOOR, Ill. -- Hugh Wehmeier, owner of Community Motors Inc. (Pontiac-GMC-Mazda) in Oak Forest, Ill., and Community Imports Inc. (Honda) in Orland Park, Ill., died here April 28. He sold the business to his son, Tom, in 1991 when he retired. He was 82.
