Keith "K.C." Crain Jr. has been named publisher of AutoWeek, the auto enthusiast magazine published by Crain Communications Inc.
At the same time, Tony Merpi was named publishing director and Tony Foster advertising sales manager of AutoWeek.
"We have a great team in place to take AutoWeek to the next level," said Keith Crain, chairman of Crain Communications.
K.C. Crain is a former Automotive News reporter.
He joined AutoWeek in June 2005 and was named advertising director in April 2006.
He was an early member of Crain Communications' corporate New Media department.
Merpi is a 31-year Crain veteran. He joined Automotive News in 1976 in advertising sales.
Merpi later became director of sales and marketing for the Automotive News Group, responsible for the marketing and sales efforts of all Crain automotive titles.
He most recently was publisher of AutoWeek.
Foster joined Crain in 1997 as a financial analyst.
He joined Automotive News as a sales representative in 1999 and most recently was Midwest advertising manager for AutoWeek.
