Hyundai Motor to build $275 million local engine plant

SEOUL -- Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's top automaker, said today that it would invest 256.9 billion won ($275.2 million) to build a local engine plant.

Hyundai said in a filing with the Korea Exchange the plant would be located within its existing car manufacturing facility in the southeastern city of Ulsan.
