Honda to recall 29,916 cars in China

SHANGHAI -- Honda Motor Co. will recall 29,916 locally made cars in China due to potential problems with the windscreen wipers, state media said today.

The Odyssey sedans were produced by Honda's venture in the southern city of Guangzhou between March 28, 2002, and Oct. 21, 2003, the official Xinhua news agency said.

No accidents or personal injuries had yet been linked to the defect, it said.
