What is the alternative? What would work better? To show vehicles, demonstrate them, provide an appraisal for trade-ins, don't you go to a dealership?

Factory ownership of dealerships has proved to be not all that successful. Even the public companies, although they are successful when they've been able to buy the more popular franchises, don't compete as strongly with the better entrepreneurs from an operational standpoint as they would like to. I don't have AutoNation outselling me with any single dealership.
