Senior Editor Teahen gets another honor

DETROIT -- Automotive News Senior Editor John K. Teahen Jr. has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Detroit Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.

Teahen, 80, was hailed for his professional achievements during more than 50 years as a reporter, editor and columnist at Automotive News.

It was the third major honor Teahen received this year.

In April, he was inducted into the Michigan Journalism Hall of Fame.

Two months earlier he received a Distinguished Service Citation from the Automotive Hall of Fame, which was presented in Orlando, Fla., during the National Automobile Dealers Association convention.
