Microheat will supply GM cars

DETROIT -- Microheat Inc. will supply a washer device it calls "HotShot" for the 2006 Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS.

The device heats fluid and sprays it at intervals, clearing snow, ice, bugs and grime. It has been available commercially since 2002.

Microheat, of Farmington Hills, Mich., supplies fluid heating products and parts for washer and wiper systems.
