Hans Hess Autoteile launches auto parts network

Cologne, Germany.Hans Hess Autoteile has launched an auto parts network that aims to rival Temotís Autofit chain.

Hans Hess calls its network Motoo. Managing Director Philipp Hess wants to bring 90 partners aboard this year. He plans to have a network of 500 Motoo operations by 2008.

Hess has been a Temot partner since 1986. He sees his future partners primarily coming from service centers that have been Autofit affiliates.

The first affiliate, Esser-Schueller in Niederaussem, in North Rhine-Westphalia, began working as a Motoo shop in early July.
