LDV gets diesels from VM Motori

TURIN – VM Motori has been awarded the contract to supply diesel engines for the LDV Maxus light commercial vehicle.

The Maxus was unveiled last month at the light commercial vehicle show in Birmingham, England.

VM Motori of Cento, Italy will provide LDV of Birmingham with about 10,000 units of its 2.5-liter, four-cylinder common-rail turbodiesel engines in 2006, rising to 20,000 units a year starting in 2007 or 2008.
