Rolls-Royce plans new dealers in Paris and Kiev, aims for India

Goodwood, England. Rolls-Royce plans to increase its dealer network worldwide from 65 to 70 next year and will open its first branch in the French capital during this month's Paris auto show.

And because the business is going so well in the former Soviet countries, Rolls-Royce will add a dealership in Kiev, Ukraine, by the end of this year. It already has a showroom in Moscow, which opened in March.

Service operations manager George Rowlands said: "We have great hopes for the Russian market. It almost has the same level of potential as China."

Rolls-Royce also wants to establish itself in India. Once upon a time, Rolls-Royce models were one of the maharajas' favorite toys. Currently Delhi, Bombay and the software and computer center Bangalore, where the number of millionaires is constantly rising, are being examined as possible locations.
