Lexus postpones hybrid launch by three months

Tokyo. Lexus has postponed plans to launch its luxury hybrid model by three months.

The US launch of the Lexus RX 400h with 270hp was originally planned for October. Now it will take place at the beginning of 2005 because of delays relating to the adjustment of the gasoline hybrid's high torque power to the front axle of the off-roader.

Sales of the RX 400h in Germany will start in May next year instead of March.
