TK Fahrzeugguss to be sold

Bochum. ThyssenKrupp Automotive (TKA) plans to sell its vehicle molding subsidiary ThyssenKrupp Fahrzeugguss.

The subsidiary had a turnover of approximately 250 million euros during the 2002/2003 business year.

ThyssenKrupp Fahrzeugguss comprises seven plants, five of which are in Germany.

In May 2003 the ThyssenKrupp AG's supervisory board announced the planned sale of more than 30 companies that belong to the group.

Workers representatives hope the seven plants of ThyssenKrupp Fahrzeugguss can be sold as a package.
