Saab to premier 4WD in New York

Trollhaettan, Germany. Saab will unveil its first sport-utility at the New York auto show in April 2004.

The four-wheel-drive 9-7X will be assembled at the General Motors plant in Moraine, Ohio.

The vehicle shares its GMT 360 architecture with the GMC Envoy and the Chevrolet TrailBlazer.

Design, handling and safety features will meet Saab standards.

The vehicle will be available in North American in early 2005. The sales target is 15,000 units per year.
