Mail order company Quelle adds Opel, Renault to its range

Fuerth. German mail order company Quelle, which in June began offering EU imports and day registrations through the Internet, has added the Opel Zafira, the VW Polo and the VW Touran to its "EU new cars" section. It has also started day registrations for the Renault Twingo.

Eleven other models are available from Ford, Volkswagen, Nissan and Smart.

According to Quelle spokesman Erich Jeske approximately 100 cars have been sold so far and the medium-term plan is to sell 300 vehicles per month.

Now Quelle customers can also exchange their old cars. Quelle partner Carplus is organizing the purchase of old cars through one of its dealers. Not many customers have used this service so far.

From September Quelle will increase its publicity, according to Jeske. Quelle captured a lot of publicity in June by holding a lottery offering 50 Smart cars for the ridiculously low price of 2,000 euros, which attracted five million visitors to its site.
