Hella to become limited company

Lippstadt. Lighting and electronics specialist Hella is preparing to go public.

Currently a private company owned by the partnership Hella KG Hueck & Co., Hella will become the limited company Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. if partners approve the change.

Hella boss Juergen Behrend's plan is to secure the supplier's independence on a long-term basis through this move. It will also enable it to be launched on the stock market.

"This is an important option that will provide us with wider financial opportunities," said Hella Finance Director Hans Sudkamp.
