Beetle production to end

After nearly 70 years and more than 21.5 million vehicles, production of the original Volkswagen Beetle will finish this year.

The sole remaining production site for the original Beetle is VW's plant in Puebla, Mexico. The Puebla plant currently produces 53 Beetles per day.
