Cayenne buyers need to be patient

Stuttgart, Germany. Porsche's delivery problems with the Cayenne are continuing.

After delays in air suspension systems there are hold-ups in the delivery of other specialized accessories, which are high in demand.

According to an internal warning letter sent in May to all Porsche centers, certain restrictions have been placed on new orders so that older orders can be given priority.

For example, Porsche will not be able to offer 19- or 20-inch wheels to any customers who place a Cayenne order in July.

Also, only the leather version of the Cayenne steering wheel will be available for the foreseeable future.

Furthermore, the availability of systems such as Servotronic, Porsche Entry & Drive and the Electric Comfort Package will be restricted until stocks build up to an adequate level.
