Skoda adds 500 Superbs to demo fleet

Weiterstadt, Germany. Skoda Auto Deutschland GmbH is trying to boost sluggish sales of its top model, the Superb. Recently, the VW subsidiary provided 500 additional demonstration vehicles to its German dealers.

Skoda dealers can access the special pool free of charge so they can convince potential buyers of the benefits of the spacious sedan by offering generous test drives. Also, according to sources, new sales trainers will dedicate themselves to achieving a "better use of market potential."

In the past year, 4,822 units of the Superb were registered in Germany. Through the end of April of this year, Skoda reported 1,585 registrations for the Superb range, which starts at 22,500 euros for the 115 horsepower standard version.
