Siemens cancels SAE exhibit

DETROIT — Siemens Automotive Corp. will not have a booth in the exposition at the 2002 SAE World Congress, the supplier said last week, making it the latest Tier 1 supplier to pull out of the event.

Financial considerations led to the decision by the company’s board of management in Germany not to display at the show in 2002, a spokesman said.
