Hallett heads ALLETE unit

INDIANAPOLIS — Jim Hallett, CEO of ADESA Corp. since 1996, was named chairman and CEO of ALLETE Automotive Services on Monday, Dec. 3. Automotive Services is a subsidiary of ALLETE Inc. of Duluth, Minn., the parent of ADESA. Automotive Services consists of ADESA, Automotive Finance Corp. and AutoVIN, a vehicle inspection business. Hallett, 48, will continue as a corporate executive vice president of ALLETE.
