Mitsubishi wins GM business

DETROIT - General Motors has chosen Mitsubishi Electric Automotive America, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corp., to produce ignition coil modules for engines in cars and trucks. The business is expected to be worth about $730 million.

Mitsubishi of Plymouth, Mich., will make the ignition coil modules at its plant in Maysville, Ky.
