DETROIT -- Steve Wilhite will join Nissan North America's Nissan Division as vice president of marketing.

He left VW in January 1999, and after a short stint at a fledgling motorcycle marketer, joined Apple Computer as vice president of marketing communications in April 1999. He left Apple a year ago.
