Valeo subsidiary to close plant

PARIS -- Wire harness supplier EKO, a subsidiary of the Valeo Group, plans to close its plant in Velenje, Slovenia.

EKO has not been profitable for the last three years. The plant closure is part of Valeo's production site restructuring program. Valeo will transfer most of that plant's production to its Electronics and Connective Systems plant in Mateur, Tunisia.
