Startup purchases Duesenberg name

LOS ANGELES - Build-To-Order Inc., a startup headed by former CEO Scott Painter, has acquired the rights to the Duesenberg name for an undisclosed price.

The company, formed this year, plans to design and build a Duesen-berg for sale over the Inter-net. The company hopes to have a vehicle on the market in 2004. The last Duesenberg was built in 1937.
