Speedster for Japan

Carl-Peter Forster, CEO of Adam Opel AG, says the sharply styled, low-riding Speedster roadster could soon be on sale in Japan. Opel wants to share the success of Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Volkswagen-Audi in Japan, so it will begin stressing its German engineering. Opel's goal: 20,000 sales a year by 2006.
