Security? What security?

Several Americans commented on the lack of strict security at the Tokyo show.

One reporter who arrived without credentials at 8:30 a.m. on the first press day for a 9 a.m. interview was told that no press credentials could be issued until the show opened at 9.

Frustrated by the bureaucracy, he and several colleagues walked through the open doors onto the show floor - unchallenged - and wandered the show floor all day without passes.

He picked up his credentials on his way out - at 4 p.m.
