Comings & Goings: LOS ANGELES: Ex-journalist takes key Jaguar post

Sue Callaway may not have experience in the auto industry. But that did not prevent her from being named the top Jaguar executive in North America.

Callaway, 37, is a former Fortune magazine journalist who covered the auto industry.

After being approached by Ford Motor Co. CEO Jacques Nasser, Callaway joined Premier Automotive Group in December.

Her new title is vice president and general manager of Jaguar Cars North America.

Callaway reports to Mike O'Driscoll. He is president of the newly combined Aston Martin-Jaguar-Land Rover division of Premier Automotive Group in Irvine, California.

Callaway's selection coincides with the promotion of John Walton to vice president and general manager of Aston Martin and Steve McKnight to vice president and general manager of Land Rover North America Inc.

Callaway says: 'There's nothing I love more than great cars.'
