Advertisers cancel meeting

NEW YORK - The Association of National Advertisers, a trade group for large U.S. advertisers, including automakers, has canceled its annual meeting set for Oct. 10-14 in Naples, Fla. The cancellation was in response to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon Sept. 11. The association said many of its members are fixing operational disruptions and adjusting marketing campaigns to reflect changes in the nation's circumstances and in consumers' attitudes.
