Kathleen Ligocki sees three major challenges facing Ford in North America

1. The product plan

'Ford does have a very strong portfolio of products and services,' she says. 'We need to keep them coming. How do we make the entire portfolio strong and innovative?'

2. Quality

'It takes discipline. We need to fix the vehicle quality.'

3. The business structure

'Getting the business structure and processes right, how people do the work in product creation and order fulfillment. What do we need? What can we afford?'
