English, speaking to the 2001 Management Briefing Seminars in Traverse City, Mich., said the online exchange has also hired Dwayne Duckett as senior vice president of global human resources.

Covisint has also moved some of its employees into new roles:

  • Peter Weiss is senior vice president of global alliances and business development.

  • Dan Jankowski is senior vice president of global communications.

English said he intends to round out his management team in the future with "key leaders" in the financial, human resources, legal, sales and operations categories.

He also confirmed a Thursday Automotive News report that some key leaders are leaving Covisint:

  • Jacqui Dedo, who joined Covisint in December from Robert Bosch Corp., will leave her leadership role in sales and customer enablement activities.

  • Rico Digirolamo , acting CFO, will return to his former role at GM as soon as Covisint finds a replacement.

  • Doug Van Daagens, senior vice president of business development, will return to Ford. Weiss takes over his role, according to English.
