Wagoner calls program 'top priority'
In a move to leapfrog competitors such as Toyota and Honda, General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner last week said the automaker will develop a plug-in hybrid for retail sale. "GM has begun work on a Saturn Vue plug-in hybrid production vehicle," Wagoner said in a speech at the Los Angeles auto show.  story
