Ex-Ford director plans Volvo bid next week, newspaper says
A group led by a former Ford director will make an offer for Volvo next week, rivaling a bid from China's Geely, a Swedish newspaper reported. Media reports put the bid by the U.S. Crown consortium at between $2 billion and $2.5 billion.
