Durable fanless sensor cuts cost

Preh GmbH
What: Fanless interior temperature sensor
Innovation: Sensors to measure cabin temperatures have long needed fans. Preh's fanless sensor uses a thermistor — an electronic part whose resistance changes with temperature — and software. The device is less expensive and more durable than a sensor with a fan. It can be built into the climate control system or placed in the cabin.
