Hyundai Tucson fuel cell

Hyundai's decadelong campaign to engineer a fuel cell vehicle pays off next spring with the launch of the hydrogen-powered Tucson crossover. The Tucson will be available as a lease-only vehicle in southern California for $2,999 down and $499 per month for 36 months -- and that includes fuel, regardless of how much hydrogen the lessee uses. The fuel cell Tucson is a coup for Hyundai as it arrives before similar vehicles from General Motors, Ford, Chrysler Group and other major automakers. The Tucson's fuel cell stack, power electronics and other hydrogen-specific parts were all developed in-house.
