A look back at cars and light trucks that were given a pink slip in the U.S. market and headed for the sunset during 2012.

Hyundai, aiming to rationalize marketing efforts, dropped the Veracruz and its three rows of seating in favor of two redesigned Santa Fe models for the 2013 model year. The shorter Santa Fe Sport will be joined by the Santa Fe with three rows of seats early next year. Veracruz sales topped out at 12,589 in 2007, its first year on the U.S. market.
