The "J" moniker on this Aventador comes from the FIA rule book; Appendix J defines technical specifications of race cars. It also summons the spirit of the 1970 Jota, a modified one-off version of the Miura. the Aventador J is an open-air two-seater with no roof. Along with the deletion of the air conditioning system, this reduces weight even more compared with the already lithe Aventador. They share the same 6.5-liter V12 pumping out 691 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque, paired with a seven-speed automated-manual gearbox. Lamborghini calls it the most radical open super sports car in its history.
