Freshen 2018

The 2019 models carry a modified version of Mini's characteristic circular headlights. The rear lights, when paired with optional LED headlights, feature a new Union Jack design to evoke the look of the British flag. They also will have Mini's new flat, two-dimensional logo. On the interior, new seat materials and other new surface trims are available. A new 6.5-inch instrument panel display is standard with a new 8.8-inch touchscreen display available as an option

Redesign 2021

The Hardtops are likely to be redesigned in 2021 with a plug-in hybrid variant possible in 2022.
