Mercedes-Benz C class sedan
The redesigned compact sedan will get slightly larger and will have a more luxurious interior when it arrives in September 2014. The sedan, scheduled to debut at the 2014 Detroit auto show, has a new lightweight body structure that Mercedes says will shave as much as 220 pounds, depending on the engine used. Images indicate the redesigned C class will get the styling of the redesigned E class and S class, with hints of the CLA. The C class will also have a reworked interior optional head-up display, a fingertip-controlled touch pad within the center console and a free-standing central display with a standard 7-inch or optional 8.4-inch color monitor.

Variants will be added later, including a convertible, plug-in hybrid and 50-state clean diesel.
