Mitsubishi PX-MiEV
The PX-MiEV crossover is a rugged, four-wheel-drive hybrid fitted with a 1.6-liter double-overhead-camshaft engine and two motors, one for the front wheels and one for the rear.
The PX-MiEV can run in all-electric or gasoline-electric mode, tapping both the engine and battery. In electric-only mode, the PX-MiEV has a range of 30 miles.
Mitsubishi says the PX-MiEV combines the company's traditional expertise in SUVs with its new push into environmentally friendly, low-emissions electric powertrains.
Mitsubishi extends its electrified drive train technology to the crossover segment with a rugged plug-in hybrid powered by lithium-ion batteries.
