2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R-Spec
The Genesis coupe R-Spec, which debuted at the Chicago auto show, takes a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder Genesis coupe Track model and strips away nonperformance parts. Features such as Bluetooth, automatic headlamps, cruise control, trip computer, chrome interior trim and steering-wheel audio controls are left out. For the performance enthusiast who is willing to leave those luxury items on the table, Hyundai lops off $3,000 from the Track trim's $27,500 sticker price. Hyundai's idea with the R-Spec is to provide a solid foundation for tuners and let them spend the money they saved on aftermarket parts.
