Ferrari 458 Italia
Ferrari's 458 Italia coupe will replace the company's best-selling model, the 430.
The 458 Italia will go on sale by the end of the year in Europe. Its price will be announced later, but it's expected to be considerably higher than the 430 coupe, which starts at almost 180,000 euros (about $255,400).
The car will have a new, 4.5-liter V-8 gasoline direct-injection engine that delivers 570hp.
The new engine, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which Ferrari debuted this year on the California, will lower the CO2 emissions of the the 458 Italia to 320 grams per kilometer, compared with the 345g/km emitted by the 490hp 430 coupe.
The 458 Italia gets its name from its 4.5-liter engine and eight cylinders. Ferrari also added the word Italia, which means Italy in Italian.
