DealerTrack to supply sales tools to Honda, Acura

DealerTrack Inc. said Friday that it has signed an exclusive agreement to provide Honda and Acura with loan-origination and other sales tools.
The company said it will partner with American Honda Finance Corp. and make "a significant investment" to create software that will streamline sales financing. The goal is to improve the customer experience, DealerTrack said.
The tool will process credit-application data and integrate sales, finance and insurance and contracting functions, DealerTrack said.
"We are excited to support American Honda Finance Corp.'s goal to help drive efficiency throughout the vehicle purchase and finance experience for dealers, all while improving the automotive" retailing experience, said Mark O'Neil, CEO of DealerTrack.
The company said it will roll out the program in multiple phases over the next two years.
