STUTTGART -- Porsche’s redesigned Cayman coupe will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November and will reach dealers by year end or early 2013.

The new Cayman remains technologically close to the redesigned Boxster, which goes on sale June 30.

Like the Boxster, the new Cayman will be a bit smaller and lighter but will have more interior space.

Porsche is initially sticking with six-cylinder boxer engines with direct fuel injection and two performance levels, likely 280 and 330 hp.
