DETROIT -- The customer relationship management company Xtime is providing its ServiceCRM software to at least 100 U.S. Lexus stores, the companies said Friday. Xtime has a contract to provide the software to 100 Lexus dealerships, but Xtime is the "approved supplier" that can offer the software to all of the brands' 228 stores, Xtime CEO Neal East said. Xtime, of Redwood Shores, Calif., tested the software for 10 months at 14 stores before going forward with the Lexus deal. During testing, online appointments "immediately doubled" at Lexus of Richmond in Virginia, David Watts, the store's vice president of fixed operations, said in a statement. The Xtime software provides online service profiles for vehicles, online service scheduling, and e-mail and text message customer notifications. It also searches a dealership's scheduling to ensure appointment and loaner availability at the time of online scheduling and integrates with the stores' data management systems. The arrangement is the second major deal Xtime has landed in the past year. Last fall, Xtime launched its online scheduling program in Sonic Automotive Inc.'s 164 dealerships. |
