Visiting Professor, Kansai University of International Studies
Toshikata Amino is executive-in-residence and distinguished fellow at Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. He is also visiting professor at Kansai University of International Studies in Miki, Japan. From 1999-2003, he was assistant to the president and professor of international business and management at Kansai. Toshi received his degree in business administration from Kobe University and honorary doctorate from Franklin University, Columbus, Ohio. He joined Honda Motor Co. in Tokyo, Japan, in 1966 and in 1976, was assigned to American Honda Motor in Gardena, California, as vice president, motorcycle marketing. In 1980, he was appointed vice president, auto plant construction, at Honda of America Manufacturing in Marysville, Ohio. In 1981, Toshi became president of Bellemar Parts Industries, a supplier of Honda. He moved back to Honda of America as executive vice president in 1987 and retired from the company in 1995.
