Thomas Hanna is a former president and CEO of the American Automobile Manufacturers Association (AAMA), the national trade association of the U.S. domestic motor vehicle manufacturing companies (OEMs). During his tenure at AAMA he served a one-year term as president of OICA, the Paris-based international association of automobile manufacturers.
Prior to AAMA, Mr. Hanna was director of technical divisions for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers in Dearborn, Michigan. Earlier experience included supervisory and engineering positions in the foundry industry.
After retirement he served as executive director of the Detroit Executive Service Corps, a consultancy to non-profit organizations.
